Surface fishing at the Channel Islands for Yellowtail and Calico Bass, has become a reliable bite as all the boats are gathering up and catching fish side by side.
Fishing continued to pick up around the Channel Islands and many would say because the weather finally chilled out. Little to no wind and warmer than average temperatures for almost every day this week.
After much of the week off because of weather, primarily high winds, we resumed our fishing on Saturday. Rock fishing was outstanding.
Fishing was tough as the weather wreaked havoc on our plans of catching game fish like White Seabass and Yellowtail.

Another exciting week fishing the Channel Islands. The Yellowtail bite turned up a notch with almost all the boats getting in on the action.
The 4th of July weekend fishing weather was fine! This past week, the fishing was steady at Channel Islands Sportfishing
Bad weather kept the fishing boats in most of this week but by the weekend we were back out.
Half way through December and with only 10 fishing days left in the season, the pressure is on to catch fish.
