The White Seabass fishing has escalated! And the White Seabass Limit went to 3 today, June 16, 2019.
June Gloom makes for a calmer ocean. Rockfishing remains a staple, with boats catching a lot of nice Rockfish and Whitefish. On occasion, the White Seabass have shown.

Fall fishing at the Northern Channel Islands is always good but after the summer we had one can only assume the fall bite will be just as epic! Variety this week included, White Seabass, Bluefin Tuna, Rockfish and other great fish.
Another exciting week fishing the Channel Islands. The Yellowtail bite turned up a notch with almost all the boats getting in on the action.
The fishing report for this week includes a pending world record for a California Halibut.
When fishing the Channel Islands you can always count on good bottom fishing for an assortment of Rockfish and other good eating species.
This week the fishing continued to pick up as White Seabass and Yellowtail are in our daily counts with regularity.
This weeks fishing action picked up dramatically as predicted. A big reason for this would be two major factors. Great weather all week and live squid has become plentiful.
While the weather again this week was not our friend we did manage to catch some nice fish in between fronts. A couple of our full day trips found a few White Seabass that wanted to bite and our trips fishing Rockfish are still catching better than average quality.

What else can we say, great fishing! With 13 boats out from the twilight to the overnighters, the counts are solid.
What a way to end the week here at the beautiful Channel Islands. With close to 600 anglers this weekend and our entire fleet fishing, the counts are looking great!
