The Gentleman

The Gentleman is the 3/4 day deep sea fishing boat out of Channel Islands Sportfishing Center (CISCOS) in Oxnard, CA. We are located in Channel Islands Harbor in Ventura County, right on Victoria Avenue. During the Winter and Spring we mainly fish for rockfish, Ling Cod, Whitefish and most other bottom fish. When the water warms up, we will spend time targeting barracuda, calico bass, halibut and sand bass. If conditions are right we will also fish for White Seabass and other exotics. We have plenty of room for big charter groups.
We depart daily at 6am.

  • Photo ID required for all passengers 18 and older.
  • Bait is included on all trips.
  • Ice chests (except where noted), glass containers, and alcoholic beverages are not to be brought aboard the boats.
  • All prices and times are subject to change without notice.
  • Licenses, Fishing Tackle, Food and Beverages, and Fish Filleting are additional on all trips unless otherwise noted.
  • California fishing licenses are required for all anglers 16 years of age and older.
  • Possible fuel price increases may require that a fuel surcharge be added at the time of departure.
  • We reserve the right to substitute boats in the unlikely event a scheduled boat is not available.
