Pacific Islander Sportfishing


The Pacific Islander is available for both local and overnight open party or private charter trips fishing Southern California's premium fishing grounds. Departing from Channel Islands Harbor, in Oxnard, CA,(Ventura County) we venture out to the beautiful islands, which include, Santa Rosa, San Miguel, San Nicolas, Santa Cruz and Anacapa. During the Spring time we have excellent Rockfish action with a good chance to catch White Seabass & Halibut. As the water warms in the summer, we also fish the more exotic species, such as Yellowtail and Tuna in addition to White Seabass, Halibut and Calico Bass.

The Pacific Islander operates out of Channel Islands Sportfishing Center. CISC is the ONLY Sportfishing Association of California landing operating out of Channel Islands Harbor. When you make your choice on where to fish, choose the landing that helps preserve your right to fish. Choose a S.A.C. landing! 

Our boat is equipped with the latest electronics to put you on the fish. Our 4 live bait tanks can carry up 150 scoops of bait. We are also equipped with a large refrigerated fish hold to keep your fish fresh! Our comfortable bunk room can sleep up to 30 passengers comfortably on overnight trips. Our galley is fully equipped to serve excellent hot meals and cold drinks. At the end of the trip, we offer fish cleaning for your convenience.

  • Ice chests, glass containers, and alcoholic beverages are not to be brought aboard the boats.
  • We do not allow ANY illegal drugs/substances and/or firearms/explosives onboard the vessel at ANY time.
  • All prices are subject to change without notice.
  • Licenses, Fishing Tackle, Food and Beverages, and Fish Filleting are additional on all trips unless otherwise noted.
  • California fishing licenses are required for all anglers 16 years of age and older.
  • Possible fuel price increases may require that a fuel surcharge be added at the time of departure.
  • We reserve the right to substitute boats in the unlikely event a scheduled boat is not available.
