The Pacific Islander fishing boat is a spacious 73 feet long by 19 feet wide vessel with plenty of deck space. Designed with the serious angler in mind, but very accommodating for all anglers from beginners to experienced, The Pacific Islander is perfect for any fishing excursion.

Come fish the Northern Channel Islands

The Pacific Islander is available for overnight open party, multi day trips, full day trips and private charters, and provides access to Southern California’s premium fishing grounds of the Northern Channel Islands, which include Santa Rosa, San Miguel, San Nicolas, Santa Cruz and Anacapa Islands. Pacific Islander Charter Fishing Boat fishing White Seabass, Rockfish, Lingcod, Sheephead, Halibut and more.

The boat is equipped with the latest electronics so if the fish are out there, the Pacific Islander will put  you on top of them. There are 4 live bait tanks that can carry up 150 scoops of bait and a large refrigerated fish hold to keep your fish fresh! The comfortable bunk room can sleep up to 30 passengers on overnight trips, and the galley is fully equipped to serve excellent hot meals and cold drinks.  At the end of the trip, they offer fish cleaning for your convenience.

Pricing information


  • All charters require a 50% deposit at time of booking.
  • A 4% Harbor Fee will be added to all open party tickets and private charters. Previously this cost was built into the price but due to rising costs it needs to be factored separately. 
  • California fishing licenses are required for all anglers 16 years of age and older.
  • Bait is included on all trips. Live Bait provided when available. No guarantees of type or size.
  • Illegal drugs, including Medical Marijuana, firearms, or explosives of any kind are not allowed.
  • NO ICE CHESTS allowed on boats except where noted.
  • All prices are subject to change without notice.
  • Licenses, Fishing Tackle, Food and Beverages, Fish Filleting and Gratuities are additional on all trips unless otherwise noted.
  • Possible fuel price increases may require that a fuel surcharge be added at the time of departure.
  • We reserve the right to substitute boats in the unlikely event the scheduled boat is not available.
  • All boats at Channel Islands Sportfishing are individually owned, operated, and maintained. Channel Islands Sportfishing does not hire, train or employ any of the crews on the boats. Passengers assume all responsibility for themselves while onboard the vessels.
