2) Mike Elder from Oxnard caught a 30lb Yellowfin Tuna on a 2 day trip aboard the Seabiscuit.
3) Geoff D’Sena weighed in a 190.6lb Marlin at our weigh station. Caught on a private boat.
4) Thomas Pope from Oxnard caught a 31lb Bluefin Tuna on an overnight trip aboard the Seabiscuit.

Report:
El Nino 2015 keeps bringing fish to our islands in abundance. This year is seeing an endless Yellowtail bite while Calico Bass fishing is basically wide open. This week we even had a handfull of White Seabass caught as squid started to pop up at the islands again.

Tuna are offshore within reach of our multi day and overnight trips. We in fact had a two day trip recently return with a boat load of 30 pound class Yellowfin Tuna to go along with some Yellowtail and Skipjack Tuna.

Another specie we don’t see in big numbers here at the Channel Islands are Marlin. This week anglers fishing a tournament based out of Catalina were bringing Marlin to our weigh station because of the volume of fish at Santa Cruz Island.

Go fishing! This is an epic year with the warm El Nino waters!
